Gail Cavanaugh is a writer, illustrator, pianist, piano teacher, singer, and life insurance agent.  She has been writing eleven blogs and numerous articles for her businesses for about ten years.  Gail is the author  of two books, the Retailers Guide to Merchant Services and Beyond My ImaginationBoth are available on Barnes and Nobles and Amazon.

Gail began her writing as a claims representative for insurance companies for ten years after graduating from college, and then began a career in life insurance sales.  She also was a substitute teacher, off and on over a span of fifteen years, taught piano at community centers,  taught English as a Second Language at a community college for three years, and sang on a praise and worship team for three years.

She is in the process of opening thirteen music schools in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and Connecticut, as well as an office for Cavanaugh Creations, her marketing and design firm, and the soup kitchen.  She is currently feeding the poor and homeless in Pawtucket, RI.

She owns the RI Kids Create Music School, Cavanaugh Creations, (a marketing and design firm), Cavanaugh Financial Solutions, The Wisdom Institute, Inc., The Fitness Wagon, Grace Art Factory,  Designs a la Mode. and the Christian Business Network.  She is the pastor of the True Vine Church, whose ministries include the Welcome Mat Women’s Shelter, Trinity Men’s Shelter, Never Hunger, Never Thirst Soup Kitchen, Gateway to Heaven Orphanage, Grace and Truth Youth Group, True Worshipers Adult Group, and Sweet Jesus Children’s Choir.

Born and raised in Newport, RI, she loves the ocean, watercolor painting, and playing the piano.  She has a B.A. in Spanish from Stonehill College, studied piano at the Hartt School of Music in West Hartford, Connecticut, and has taken 10 of 12 courses at Liberty University toward her MBA.
